“The World Congress of Anaesthesiologists is unique in bringing together anaesthesiologists from all over the world to great venues (and I can personally vouch for Cape Town and Southern Africa as stunningly beautiful and culturally rich). No one nation dominates, and the range and quality of experts from smaller countries is outstanding. New Zealand is a longstanding contributor to WFSA activities and this Congress is not to be missed.”

Prof. Alan Merry, New Zealand

Alan Merry is Professor of Anaesthesiology, University of Auckland, Chair of the Quality and Safety Committee of World Federation of Societies of Anaesthetists, and President of the Auckland Medico-Legal Society.
