So what if your colleagues call you crazy? This is one adrenalin blast you simply have to experience!
And if you’re going to jump off a cliff, what better place to do it than the rugged granite face of Cape
Town’s famous Table Mountain – a dizzying 1 000 metres above the shimmering bay below!
It’s a mind-blowing event, with the thrill factor constantly clashing with the fear factor as you take the
plunge in a 112 metre controlled descent. If you can bear to watch, you’ll be rewarded with awe-inspiring
views of greater Cape Town and its miniscule skyscrapers far-far beneath your dangling feet.
If the day is clear, you’ll see as far as the blue mountains of the Winelands in the north and Cape Point at the
southernmost tip of the Peninsula. Or just close your eyes and think of home as you sway down – slowly – to a
firm footing… somewhere… down… there.
This is the world’s highest commercial abseil. And whether you’re a complete novice or an old hand, it’s a cliffhanger
of an adventure that you won’t forget in a lifetime!
Don’t worry if you’ve never been up or down a sheer vertical rock face and don’t know your belay plate from your Prusik
loop; your instructor will gladly teach you the ropes.
Make this the year of living vertically, at least once!
