Exhibition Building Restrictions

Due to space restrictions at the CTICC, we will need to use certain parts of the WCA2008 exhibition in a creative way. There are three areas of note:

Buffalo Zone (CTICC Hall 2)
This area will be used for the WCA2008 Opening Ceremony in conjunction with Hall 1. Once the Opening Ceremony is over, the space will be converted to form part of the WCA2008 Exhibition. As a result, build time will be short in the Buffalo Zone and all stands should be purchased with shell scheme construction. Companies exhibiting in this area will be able to set-up their exhibit early on the morning of Monday 3rd March 2008. The exhibition will formally open at lunchtime on Monday 3rd March 2008. You are advised to book a stand in one of the other four zones should you require a longer set-up time.

Leopard Zone
Companies exhibiting in the Leopard Zone should note that there is a building height restriction of 3.5metres in this zone. This is to ensure that any banners hung by in the exhibition hall are visible as the delegate enters the exhibition.

Elephant Zone
The floor loading in the Elephant Zone is 1,500kg/m2 (15kN/m2) whilst in all other zones it is 3,000kg/m2 (30kN/m2).
